GCWest Cares 2026 🎒
On July 31st, the GCWest team and our families came together for our 6th Annual GCWest Cares Back-to-School Backpack Drive. What started six years ago as a simple idea has grown into one of our most cherished firm traditions, bringing our team members and their kids together each summer to give back to our community. This year, we were also joined by our friend John Polzer from Duane Morris and his darling family, making the day even more special.
As the new school year kicks off and we all get swept up in the hustle and bustle of back-to-school season, it’s so important to remember that many families in our communities are struggling. Something as small as a backpack filled with supplies and a hand-written letter of encouragement can set a child up for success and give them the confidence they need to start the year strong. The smallest gestures can mean the most.
We were proud to partner with the Torrance YMCA to place these backpacks into the hands of local children who need them most. Our team and their children filled each one together, and seeing our own kids experience the joy of giving back to other kids is what makes this tradition so special.
