Courtney Dreibelbis serves as Assistant General Counsel at GeneralCounselWest, PC.  She has six years of experience representing and advising clients, including hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and biotechnology companies.  Her practice at GeneralCounselWest focuses on acquisitions, healthcare operations, and contracts.

Courtney supports clients on a wide range of operational issues for healthcare clients, including professional services, employment, research, payor, and vendor agreements.

Prior to GeneralCounselWest, Courtney practiced for six years at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP, a leading international law firm.  At Gibson Dunn, Courtney gained significant experience representing and advising some of the largest companies in the world facing complex legal issues.  She worked with clients across industries, including healthcare, biotechnology, education, retail, and government, on securities, class action, antitrust, and general litigation matters.

Courtney earned her law degree with highest honors in 2010 from University of San Diego School of Law, where she was a member of the University of San Diego Law Review, served on the board of the Moot Court, and was a member of the Order of the Coif.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with highest honors in 2007 from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Courtney has two daughters, enjoys cooking and testing new recipes.  In her spare time, she loves to quilt. Courtney is a member of the California bar.
